I purchased this watch for my husband, for Christmas (2015) - it is just over 6 months old. My husband only wears the watch when we go out socially. I had to return the watch after only 2months because the glass cracked ( from 12 to the 6 position ) for no apparent reason. Close inspection through a magnifying glass, by the shop, could not detect any reason for the fracture i.e. any chipping or signs of a knock! Returned the watch to the shop and was informed that the glass was not covered by the makers guarantee. I had to pay £75.00 for the glass to be replaced. A few months further on (July 2016) the glass has cracked again in the same place. I have now discarded the watch. I would never recommend a ' Citizen ' watch to anyone - very poor quality with obvious design defects.

I bought this as an anniversary present for my wife who dropped and brook the glass of her favourite watch some time ago and was unable to get the glass replaced by the manufacturer. She does not like the current trend for large faced ladies watches so I thought the Citizen EG2694-59D I found on your excellent web site I thought would be ideal and I was correct she loves the watch. As usual I left it to the day before our anniversary to buy but was delighted when it was delivered on the morning of our anniversary so an "IOU a present" was not required.

The Citizen CA0080-03E is simply beautiful. Its frame is pretty slim compared to the average mens watches. All details have been cleverly thought and give them a luxury look.
