Product Description
The Sinn U50 Collection is a family of diver’s watches, precisely engineered for water-based activity. The case of each watch is made of high-strength German Dubmarine Steel to ensure the watches are seawater-resistant, making them suitable for diving. The U50 watches are tested based on European diving equipment standards to ensure they are functional and reliable up to 500m of diving depth (50 bar). Sinn is known for pushing their watches to the absolute limits, and this watch is no exception. With numerous Sinn technologies and automatic movements, the U50 watches are long-lasting and dependable diver’s watches.
Core Features of the U50 Collection:
- All of the watches in Sinn’s U50 Collection have a case made of high-strength, seawater-resistant German Submarine Steel.
- The captive diver’s bezel of each watch is treated with TEGIMENT Technology, making it scratch-resistant. This ensures they can withstand the rigorous use that a diving watch goes through. The bezels all feature minute ratcheting and a luminous key mark.
- The crown of each of the watches is placed at the 4 o’clock position so that it does not put pressure on the back of the hand.
- The dial of all of the U50’s is protected by sapphire glass with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
- The waterproofing is aided by the screw-fastened case back and screwable crown. All of the watches meet the technical requirements for waterproofness, as set out in standard DIN 8310 and according to the technical demands for the diving norm DIN 8306. The watches are tested based on European diving equipment standards EN 250/EN 14143. They are also resistant to low pressure.
- Each of the watches in the collection has a case diameter of 41mm, a band lug width of 20mm and a case thickness of 11.15mm. They all weigh 74 grams without a strap.
Model Specifications 1051.050 BLACK SILICONE:
- This model has a matte black dial that features a date aperture at the 3 o’clock point.
- The case is made of bead-blasted German Submarine Steel.
- The bezel features a black hard coating on a TEGIMENT Technology basis.
- The watch has a red second hand for optimal timekeeping.
- The indices and hour, minute and second hands are coated with luminescent colour.
- The watch is powered by a Swiss-made Ronda 715 Li quartz movement. It uses 5 bearing jewels and has a battery with an extremely long service life. The watch features an end-of-life function and is anti-magnetic as per DIN 8309.
- The watch is functionally reliable from -20 °C to +60 °C.
- Hydro Technology allows for perfect readability even under water, freedom from reflection at any angle and completely free from fogging.
- The watch is waterproof and pressure-resistant to 5000m diving depth (500 bar), certified by DNV GL.
- The watch is finished with a black silicone strap that fastens with a folding clasp. The clasp features TEGIMENT Technology.

Delivery & Returns
We aim for you to be absolutely delighted with your purchase and therefore offer you 30 days to change your mind on your purchase. You may do this by using the form provided with your order or otherwise. We will provide a refund of all payment received (not including delivery upgrades), usually within 2 working days of receiving your return (it may take a little longer during busy periods or for more complex returns). This will be made to the original payment method. For most payment methods it will take 3-5 working days for this to show on your statement.
Please ensure items from your order are suitable before wearing as we are unable to accept items which have been worn under our returns policy.
Returns are free on all UK orders. For orders under £500, you may generate a free tracked and insured returns label on the Royal Mail website (opens in a new window). You can print this label and send it back at any local Post Office at no cost to yourself. It is also possible to have the label printed at Post Office using the QR code from the confirmation email. Please retain the proof of postage receipt. Unfortunately we are unable to refund return postage for orders under £500 sent back by other methods, so we recommend printing the free postage label provided. For orders from £500 to £2,500, the Royal Mail label does not cover the value of the item, so please send it back by Royal Mail Special Delivery, insured for its full value, and we will reimburse the postage separately (please keep your proof of postage — full details are on your receipt), or contact us and we can arrange a collection. For orders over £2,500, please contact us and we will arrange the return for you. For international returns, you will need to bear the cost of returns postage. Please ensure the watch is returned to us in an unworn, new condition with all the original packaging (manufacturer's manual and guarantee if applicable). Please ensure items from your order are suitable before wearing as we are unable to accept items which have been worn under our returns policy. We reserve the right to make deductions for unnecessary damage caused to the product by yourself.
For UK orders we are also able to offer an exchange to a different product if required, please specify this when returning your product. For international orders, please return the item for a refund and place a new order for the product you would like.
If a fault develops with a watch that is outside of the 30 day returns period or is no longer in a new condition the watch can be returned to the manufacturer under the terms of the guarantee (we are an official UK dealer for all brands on our website) so that they can rectify any issues.
