Rado is not only the master of materials. The brand has been recognized for their incredible designs. Most recently, Rado was awarded the 2020 iF Design Award. Invention and innovation are at the heart of everything the brand creates. The Rado True Square watches are proof of the brand’s constant dedication of moving forward. As one of the brands pioneering square watches, Rado loves recreating the concept in new and unique ways. In 2020 Rado has elevated the square watch to create the world’s first high-tech ceramic square watch with an injection-moulded monobloc case.
This Rado True Square Skeleton watch showcases the design capabilities of the brand beautifully. It’s case measures 38 mm. The case and bracelet are made of high-tech ceramic. Protecting the skeleton dial is a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Cut-outs in the dial bordered in a rose gold colour give a view of the automatic movement as well as add interest to the watch’s design. The indices and hands are luminescent and also in rose-gold. An exhibition case back reveals a different side of the movement and allows for you to have an almost complete view of the mechanism. The watch has a power reserve of up to 80 hours and is water resistant up to 5 bars or 50 meters.
The True Square Diamond’s has a more subdued design. Elegant and sophisticated the soft edges of this model make it a versatile timepiece for anyone who wants to add interest to their more formal attire. The four diamonds set into the black dial give the watch a high-class understated tone. This model is perfect for those who appreciate luxury and want to show it in a more subtle way. It’s 29 mm monobloc case is made of high-tech ceramics. The bracelet is also made of high-tech ceramics and closes with a hidden clasp. Gold luminescent hands contrast the dial. A date aperture is placed at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal. The watch’s movement is quartz.
This larger Diamond’s model measures at 38 mm. It retains the design and functionalities of the previous model. The monobloc case and the bracelet are made of high-tech ceramics and the dial is protected by a sapphire crystal. Adding a touch of luxury to the dial are the 4 diamonds set into it. Due to the composition of the ceramics, the watch is extremely gentle to any skin type. The material is hypoallergenic and it adapts quickly to the body’s temperature making it comfortable to wear. This watch’s movement is automatic with up to 80-hour power reserve.
If you’re after a more everyday option we suggest this simpler true square model. It’s unique green colour adds an interesting element to the design.
