A refined aesthetic that works really well, and is possibly the easiest to read of all the models, thanks to the silver indexes over the black dial. Thanks to it’s stainless steel bezel and rhodium-plated hands sweeping the dial, this is a fitting timepiece for the modern professional who lives by his own code.
The Baume & Mercier Baumatic Movement
The self winding Baumatic movement of the Baume & Mercier Clifton has been created to ensure optimal reliability. Firstly, this movement offers a fantastic 120 day of autonomy, meaning that it has a power reserve of 5 days. This is double the amount that many of the top brands have! Not only this, but the Baumatic movement is also extremely precise too, with chronometric precision of -4/+6 seconds per day for the COSC Certified models.
These pieces have been designed to resist the main magnetic fields of every day life, which helps to keep the watch even more accurate, and for longer too! The watch makers behind the Baumatic self-winding movement have stated that these models only require maintenance service once every seven years. Comparing this to the three to five years for traditional watches, it just proves the level of quality and reliability that these models have been created to! Any high watchmaking aficionado will appreciate these remarkable achievements.
