The Maurice Lacroix Aikon Mercury

The Maurice Lacroix Aikon Mercury Is Far From Normal;

With your first look at the Maurice Lacroix Aikon Mercury, you may be fooled in to thinking that this is just a normal automatic watch, a fantastic looking luxury, Swiss made, automatic Maurice Lacroix watch, but a ‘normal’ timekeeping timepiece nonetheless.

In a way, you’d be correct, this piece does have it’s central hours and minutes hands, along with a small seconds dial at the six o’clock position. However, this watch works in a very different way than expected. With the slightest tilt, the hour and minute hands will spin freely around the dial, abandoning their chronometric duties. But then, holding the Aikon Mercury upright again, the hands fall back in line to show the correct time once again!

This is the secret of the Maurice Lacroix Aikon Mercury. Like time, it slips away when you’re not paying attention. Like time, it reasserts itself when you need it.
