Lindsay Chapman, presenter of popular BBC 2 show ‘Springwatch Unsprung‘ alongside Chris Packham, and BBC One’s ‘Big Blue UK’ with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. The radio broadcaster and tv presenter has joint Elliot Brown as its official watch ambassador.
Lindsey Chapman has been named as one of the BBC Radio 4 new voices of 2018; she is the lead presenter for BBC and BBCArts, and a regular voice on BBC Radio 5 live. She is an expert in social media and online media broadcast and has worked across a whole range of different fields. These include; Wildlife, Arts, Features & Children’s, hosting worldwide live streams from Shakespeare’s Globe, Sadler’s Wells and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She has built up a very positive reputation in the world of nature and broadcast, which makes her an ideal candidate for Elliot Brown to have on board.
During the announcement, Chapman was spotted wearing her milanese mesh, Kimmeridge watch, which can be found on our site here; 405-005-B51 Elliot Brown Kimmeridge. When asked about why she had chosen this model in particular she replied;
“I particularly like the look of this watch because of the metallic strap. I like a watch that is both hard-wearing but also looks like a piece of jewellery, and this is perfect.”
“My work means I find myself in all sorts of challenging and adventurous filming locations. Wearing a watch that I know is able to cope with whatever my crazy schedule holds, is reassuring and exciting.” – Lindsay Chapman
We have previously seen the likes of Ethan Walker and James Macfee join Elliot Brown as ambassadors. People that support the Elliot Brown way of thinking and are active lifestyle professionals, to spread the Elliot Brown philosophy. Something that Lindsey Chapman will definitely support, with her way of thinking matching the brand perfectly.
Ian Elliot, Co-founder of Elliot Brown watches, says: “Our watches belong outside. They can cope with any of the elements being thrown at them. That’s why Lindsey fits our brand perfectly. One day she can find herself wading through the marshes, the next day on hand to help with lambing. Elliot Brown watches are designed to look at home whether dressed up for an awards ceremony or dressed down for a day mucking out on the farm.”
