Luxury Swiss Watch makers Raymond Weil have a long illustrious history of working with, and creating tributes for, iconic musicians, previously creating limited edition watches for the likes of David Bowie, The Beatles, Buddy Holly, Bob Marley and many more. Raymond Weil are now continuing with the announcement of a brand new Limited Edition Freelancer watch in tribute to Rock and Roll hall of famers ACDC. The Australian rock band, formed in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, have sold over 200 million records worldwide with Back in Black selling an estimated 50 million units worldwide, making it the second highest selling album by any artist, and the highest-selling album by any band.

ACDC Freelancer Tribute

The Achievements and accolades have now been commemorated, and stylised by Raymond Weil as part of their

ever expanding Music Icon Series. With a 42mm diameter stainless steel case, the freelancer AC/DC Limited Edition exudes a notable air of Rock and Roll prowess. Lined with luminescent treatment, slender hour and minute hands articulate the time with lucid dialogue. Studded indexes marking the hours reinforces the rebellious 70’s feeling to reinforce the Rock and Roll attitude of the timepiece, the hours are marked with studded indexes. The black dial features a textured pattern recalling the AC/DC high voltage bolt graphics. It sits adjacent to the iconic AC/DC typography placed at 12 o’clock. The powerful rock credentials are reaffirmed through the black leather strap, adorned with the AC/DC logo.
