Raymond Weil BRIT Awards Watch

Once again this year, luxury Swiss watch maker, Raymond Weil partnered with the BRIT Awards to celebrate in style.

The event that was held at London’s O2 Arena played host to a star studded lineup of talent. There were so many fantastic performances at the 2018 BRIT Awards, from a powerful, emotive performance by Stormzy, to Dua Lipa furthering her meteoric rise to stardom, or Ed Sheeran simply doing what he is best at. With performances also coming from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Sir Tom Jones, Ellie Goulding and many more. The ceremony that celebrates the best of both British and international musical achievements throughout 2017 gave us a whole host of winners. These include the likes of Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters, Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Rag N’ Bone Man and Harry Styles, with Dua Lipa and Stormzy receiving two BRIT awards each making them the big winners of the night.

The BRIT Award Watches

With the collaboration between the BRIT Awards and Raymond Weil spanning over an impressive 14 years now, Raymond Weil decided to create two limited edition BRIT watches to present to the winners backstage, based on the Tango watch, two watches were designed;

  • The Ladies Tango BRIT awards limited edition timepiece, with a 30mm case and a mother of pearl dial, this watch comes with 8 diamonds set in the dial and silver roman numerals to add a touch of sophistication and red carpet glamour, complete with the awards logo engraved on the back.
  • The Mens Tango BRIT awards limited edition timepiece. As with the ladies watch this version comes with the engraved logo on the case back, with a 41mm and a strong red aluminium divers bezel this watch brings class and a splash of could to match the red carpet.

Raymond Weil have a long illustrious history of Music collaborations, with their new Brits limited edition watch adding to the collection. The likes of The Beetles, Gibson, David Bowie, Buddy Holly, Bob Marley and Frank Sinatra have all been paid homage to in the past with their own limited edition timepieces.  All of which have proved to be excellent time pieces, popular with both music and watch enthusiasts around the world.
