Briston is a brand that is consistently being published in magazines, brochures and fashion guides around the world due to its quintessentially British style and French Roots. Brice Jaunet worked in the watch industry for 15 years before finally deciding to take the plunge and dive into the deep end with all the big watch brands around at the time. The brand has recently announced that it will be releasing four brand new models just in time for Baselworld 2018. The four latest Briston additions are split into two as there are two new models in the Clubmaster Sport Steel and two models for the Clubmaster Sport Acetate totalling the four together.

All four of the new Briston models feature a chronograph with styling car dashboard inspired sub dials almost square in design with curved edges to give them a sleeker appearance. There is a 24 hour sub dial at the three o’clock position and a 60 second or one minute counter at the nine o’clock position as well as a date display window at the six o’clock position. A new addition is a inner ring to the bezel which features a tachymeter scale which is under the glass which isn’t usually seen on watches as they are normally on the outer bezel.

The Briston watches are powered by a Citizen quartz movement with a Miyota caliber OS21 all housed within a 42mm case which is either Acetate or steel depending on the model you choose. They also come with a nato strap as you can see from the images above which compliment the watch perfectly, the acetate collection comes in matte black, tortoise shell, black & white tortoise shell and a wood effect and the steel additions are available in a sporty matte black or an equally as sporty matte grey depending on your taste and personal preference.

You will be able to order these Briston pieces at Baselworld 2018 and they will be at two different price points, it is £280.00 for the acetate versions and £300.00 for the steel versions, all models in the UK are distributed by The Blue Company.
