The All-New Rado Captain Cook x Tennis Limited Edition Watch

Rado is known for its use of high-quality materials, and this model makes no exception. The striking design of this timepiece starts with its 39mm polished stainless steel case and polished stainless steel rotating bezel. With its brushed plasma ceramic insert, engraved with numerals, markers, and a triangle filled with white Super-LumiNova, it offers both great durability and clarity. On the reverse, the stainless steel case back showcases textures inspired by different tennis court surfaces. The dial transitions from ruthenium to white and includes a date window at 3 o’clock. Rhodium-coloured indices and hands, coated with white Super-LumiNova, offer excellent legibility. A ruthenium-toned flange encircles the dial, accented by yellow Super-LumiNova dots at 3, 6, 8, and 12 o’clock—clever nods to tennis scoring. The second hand, tipped with dark yellow Super-LumiNova, completes the design with a touch of sporty sophistication and enhanced visibility.

At the core of this timepiece lies the Rado calibre R763. An automatic movement with a Nivachron™ hairspring and an 80-hour power reserve, it exemplifies technical mastery and mechanical resilience. This movement has also been regulated in five positions, ensuring precise timekeeping under the most demanding conditions. The design of this timepiece concludes with a polished and brushed stainless steel rice-grain bracelet. The bracelet fastens with a three-fold clasp to ensure a seamless fit. This limited edition model also includes three additional NATO-style straps in blue, green and orange; these colours match the surfaces of the primary tennis courts. All of the straps that come with this watch feature Rado’s EasyClip system. Not only does this allow you to customise your look whenever you please, but it also allows you to do so tool-free and with great ease.
