With something certain to catch your eye at every price point, you are sure to find a watch which suits you from Maurice Lacroix.

About Maurice Lacroix

Founded as a part of Desco Von Schulthess, the story of Maurice Lacroix began in 1975. Desco had been a representative for luxury watches including Audemars Piguet and Jager-LeCoultre since 1946. In 1961, Desco opened an assembly facility in the Swiss Canton of Jura and begun to produce private label watches for other manufactures. Maurice Lacroix was then born when Desco started to market their own line of watches under this brand name.

By 1980, Maurice Lacroix had become so successful that the facility in Saignelégier ceased production for third parties. Nine years later, the brand acquired the case maker Queloz S.A.; this ability to produce watch cases in-house set them aside from other luxury watch companies. During the 1990s, Maurice Lacroix launched their high-end Les Mécaniques line – the Masterpiece line as we know it today. During this time, the brand elevated itself to the superior ranks of Swiss watch manufacturers. By both maintaining traditional Swiss watchmaking art and creating their movements for the Masterpiece collection, Maurice Lacroix solidified their name in the horological world.

Since then, Maurice Lacroix has created several groundbreaking watches and impressed many with their ingenious marketing. Partnering with the likes of FC Barcelona and appealing to Millennials with their #CHASEYOURWATCH worldwide treasure hunt, Maurice Lacroix understands their audience and what appeals to them. Hence their great success in the watch industry.
