“This is minimalism” is the tag line for Bering‘s Ultra Slim collection. The brand has recently released new models as additions to one of their most successful lines. Centred around minimalism, the line encompasses timepieces that hold a contemporary appeal. Their ultra-slim design guarantees that the watches are not only comfortable but functional.
Minimalism is an art movement that began post-World War II and was first popularized in the 1960s and 1970s. These days it has evolved into more than just an art style. For a lot of people, minimalism has become a way of life. Bering defines it as a “conscious simplification without a loss of quality”. The brand has applied this philosophy to Its watches, by simplifying the design and thinning the case. The Ultra Slim timepieces are Bering’s thinnest watches to date.
Men’s Ultra Slim
These models are made of high-quality stainless steel. The case measures 40 mm in diameter and beautifully showcases the geometric textured dial. Its case and stainless steel bracelet have a mixed polished and brushed finish. The model measured 6 mm in thickness, accentuating the modern design of the watch. Protecting the dial is a flat scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Features on the model include a date aperture placed at the 3 o’clock position, hours and minutes. The watch is splash resistant and should not be submerged in water. It comes in three different colour options.
The case of these next watches measures 40 mm in diameter and 7 mm in thickness. The case has a brushed finish, giving the overall design a more muted appeal. A flat sapphire crystal protects the sunray dial. The hands of the watch are luminescent for ease of readability. The watch features hours and minutes alongside a day and a date subdial. The watch is available in a variety of colours and comes with either a plated Milanese mesh bracelet or a leather strap.
Women’s Ultra Slim
Bering’s Ultra Slim collection also supports women’s models. The case and bracelet are made of stainless steel, and some models feature gold plated elements. The case measures 31 mm in diameter and is only 5 mm thick. The models have a textured geometric dial encased by a flat sapphire crystal. The hands and indices of the watches are luminecent. Streamlined and elegant, these timepieces are the definition of minimalism
