Holiday Essentials: Women’s Watches and Jewellery

Holiday Essentials

The holiday season is reaching it’s peak with August around the corner. For those that have already booked their sunny getaway or if you are still looking for the perfect destination, we have some holiday essentials from some of our watch and jewellery brands here at First Class Watches.

Packing is one of my favourite things about going on holiday as you really feel the anticipation and excitement of your trip when you are organising what to take. In true fashionista style, I like to plan my outfits before I get there and that includes the accessories that go with it. If I had a preference I would rather pick jewellery and watches which were adaptable to more than one outfit so I can still go on holiday in style but travelling lightly.

So if you are without accessories or a destination stay tuned for our recommendations this summer.

Tenerife, Spain

Tenerife is the largest out of the Spanish canary islands which are notorious for having good weather all year round. It is an island packed with adventure with tours to iconic volcano Teide, it is an active volcano but don’t worry it’s last eruption was over 100 years ago!

Tenerife

Depending on the time of year, you can get some amazing deals on holidays in Tenerife. I personally recommend going to Tenerife in February or March as you can find bargain deals on last minute flights and the weather is beginning to pick up again after the moderate winter sun. This destination is great for beach holidays or holidays by the pool- perfect if you are looking to get a tan.

Tommy Hilfiger

If you want your holiday accessories to match the tones of the sun in the canary islands then we recommend this golden trio of accessories by Tommy Hilfiger which includes Gold Plated Heart Shape EarringsGold Plated ID Bracelet and Olivia Gold Tone Watch.

Tommy Hilfiger

If you are the kind of girl whose accessories always match then this might be the trio you are looking for. Each of these accessories have a similar style with an overall gold stainless steel with the iconic Tommy Hilfiger in clear view.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands

This is a destination which is on a lot of the nations bucket list. Amsterdam is a city well known for it’s historical endeavours as in the 17th century it was well known for being the city of trade. As a result of this buildings were created with the wealth from the trade and they still stand there today for tourists to visit.

The Netherlands has a similar climate to the UK as it is just under a 2 hour flight away, meaning that the seasons are in sync. If you would rather see this city in the sun I would recommend that you go during the months of summer and spring as it will be the perfect temperature for sight seeing.

Paul Hewitt

With Amsterdam already being a city that has a cultural look and feel we thought that the combination of Paul Hewitt’s Gold Anchor Grey Leather Bracelet and Unisex Sailor Grey Watch would be well suited to that type of holiday environment.

Paul Hewitt

This watch and bracelet are an understated grey with rose gold finishing touches. The subtle, minimalist design of these two accessories mean that they will go with a variety of outfits in your holiday wardrobe.

Maldives

If you are looking for the land of luxury then the Maldives will bring you pretty close. Just imagine white sandy beaches surrounded by clear turquoise water and a cabin on the sea. The Maldives are in the Indian ocean and as a result have the most amazing weather not to mention views. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with picturesque scenes and spas on every island then you have found the place of your dreams.

Maldives

As this destination is classed as a tropical destination it is easy to be caught out by the weather. The summer season of sun is from November to March however from April to October you could be caught in monsoon weather!

Thomas Sabo

Thomas Sabo are well known for designing and creating accessories with a luxury flair and this trio of accessories is no exception. Our recommendations from their collection include Sterling Silver Ring 52Glam And Soul Little Secrets Lotus Flower and Glam Spirit Stainless Steel watch.

Thomas Sabo

If you are going on a luxury holiday to the Maldives and want to wear luxury accessories to match then Thomas Sabo is the brand for you. Each of these accessories are simple and understated in design giving them a sophisticated outset or ‘less is more’ aura.

Alpbach, Austria

Looking for a different kind or picturesque? Perhaps you prefer a colder climate over a beach holiday and are looking to be active, if that’s the case then we would recommend a skiing holiday in Austria’s Alps.

Austria

Alpbach is only a 40-minute drive from Innsbruck airport which means that you don’t have to worry about travelling to far to this ski resort. A ski holiday is a winter wonderland setting which favours hot chocolate with marshmallows over an ice cold beverage by the sea.

Calvin Klein

It might seem unconventional to recommend accessories for a skiing holiday or winter holiday, but if you are a true fashionista, you never know when you might need to dress up whilst you are away. In light of this we recommend a few items from Calvin Klein’s collection which includes the Bangle Rose Gold watchRose Gold Silver Bangle bracelet as well as their Wonder Two Tone Earrings.

Calvin Klein

This trio of accessories is more casual then some of our other recommendations on our list. If you are a fan of the two tone style then these accessories by Calvin Klein might be what you are looking for. The shape and style of these pieces are quite unique with a combination of squares, circles and ovals.
