Rubaiyat, A Century in the Making
It was in 1917 when Bulova first chose the name Rubaiyat, a name with poetic significance and sensuality for its first-ever woman’s timepiece. It is almost a hundred years later and Bulova have released the Rubaiyat heritage which has been reinvented with a collection that honours the watch brands first expression of a lady’s timepiece. Bulova has recently been brought by watch brand Citizen Watch UK however it is being allowed to continue exactly the same as before just under new ownership, the brand has kept its warehouse and thankfully is keeping timepieces like this 100th yeah celebration piece which we really love.

The Rubaiyat Collection is a legendary heritage watch that has been reinvented in a series of stunning materials including gold tone, rose gold PVD, black leather, white leather. All comes with a stainless steel case with synthetic blue spinel cabochon crown at 12 o’clock position, all of the watches in the collection come with diamonds set in the hour markers and some even come with up to 50 diamonds individually hand set on case parenthesis and textured silver-white dial. The watches all feature double curved sapphire crystal, a stainless steel bracelet with double-press deployant closure featuring an iconic dye struck “Goddess of Time” dimensional case back or a leather bracelet with a jewellers clasp and water resistance to 30 meters.
