Triwa have teamed up with LA based brand STAMPD to design and produce a limited collaboration watch and bracelet, the American brand is famous for its monochrome, minimalistic, avant-streetwear. To make sure that both the brands get an equal share in the watches design they have mixed influences and aesthetics from both of their hometowns Los Angeles and Stockholm.

WATCH

The beautiful watch has been designed with a whole matte black face dial and strap. The watch is minimalist and very sleek which works well against the sharply contrasting white hands and a black nylon strap with a metal butterfly buckle. The watches inner ring has an engraving which reads “TIME AND I AGAINST THE WORLD | STAMPD LOS ANGELES”

BRACELET

The accompanying bracelet stays consistent with the design theme of the minimalism watch and sharp design focus. The bracelets surface is very similar to the watch which is also brushed black metal whereas the edges are sharply contradicting with a polished black metal.

About STAMPD

STAMPD is a Los Angeles brand with a a love for dark on white contrasting silhouettes with slight greys. The brand was founded in 2011, when Chris Stamp a streetwear influencer came up with the concept. It was in Chris’s capable hands that the brand managed to produce seasonal capsules in line with the lifestyle line and focus of the brands image. Each seasonal promotion has been well received with their product regularly selling out. In only four seasons the brand has collections in over 120 stores worldwide including boutique on S. La Brea.

Menswear publication GQ recently named Stamp as one of the Best New Menswear Designers in America and STAMPD is currently running as a finalist for the CVFF award.

“Always being interested in Scandinavian design and culture, I wanted to bring our energy to a TRIWA time piece. ‘Time and I against any two’ an innate STAMPD imprint was used to add detail to the bezel while keeping the remaining elements intentional while remaining minimalistic. The butter y clasp is one of my favorite details and new to the TRIWA range.” Says Chris Stamp, Creative Director and founder of STAMPD.
