Magic Make-Up Tips and Techniques author Sarah Jagger has signed on to appear in Citizen’s new advertising campaign. Sarah Jagger’s website describes her as a living, breathing beauty encyclopedia. Her expertise in the world of beauty has been gained via her time travelling the world as a makeup artist and beauty reporter.

She has appeared as a trusted expert on TV programmes This Morning and Lorraine as well as writing for many international publications. Her expertise also led her to become the face of Tresemme commercials worldwide, as well as her involvement in a wide range of advertising campaigns. This makes her links with Citizen’s watch advertising campaign very exciting.

Sarah Jagger will make her first appearance in a campaign which highlights the technology used in Citizen Eco-Drive Watches which uses light to charge the watch. This campaign will feature beautiful watches from the Citizen L Ladies’ Collection including the immensely popular Citizen L Sunrise.

Managing Director of Citizen Watch UK, Mark Robinson, announced that “We are delighted to be working with Sarah on our new campaign which will convey the focus of our strong and consistent leadership in light powered technology that is elegantly encased in the innovative design of our L Ladies’ Collection.” He added, “The new light-focused campaign will be fully celebrating our 40th anniversary of Eco-Drive technology.”

While the UK campaign is focusing on the expertise of Sarah Jagger, The campaign in the United States is focusing on “real people” who reflect the values of the Citizen brand. Two of the people who will appear in Citizen’s American advertisements are Clint Harp, a woodworker who appeared on TV programme fixer-upper, and Chloe Coscarelli, a vegan chef and cookbook author.

President of Citizen Watch Company of America, Jeffrey Cohen, spoke about this exciting watch advertising campaign, explaining: “Our new campaign draws important focus to our strong, consistent leadership in both technological advancements and innovative design, as embodied in our latest introduction in honor of the 40th anniversary of Eco-Drive technology: Eco-Drive One, the world’s thinnest light-powered watch. The ads’ powerfully bold imagery and clean-lined style reflect the new look of Citizen as exemplified in our installations at Basel and Milan Design Week, our flagship store in Times Square and our new corporate offices in New York City.” Adding that, “It not only reinforces the importance of light powered technology, but also our position as industry leaders.”
