Rotary Watches Showcase in Cannes

Rotary watches are set to showcase a number of their most popular collections during the 2015 TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes this October. Rotary will show off their current collections to new and existing customers, they will also introduce some new watches into their range.

The TFWA World Exhibition website states that: “TFWA World Exhibition & Conference is renowned for delivering the most diverse industry business forum hosting over 3,000 premium brands.” Other watch brands attending are Festina, Mondaine and Dreyfuss. The event is an opportunity for brands to show off their products and for customers to learn about them.

What Will Rotary Showcase?

Rotary are set to showcase their popular Aquaspeed Collection, including some new additions to the collection. Rotary describe the collection as: “Inspired by models first launched in the 1950’s and 1960’s, the Aquaspeed collection puts a modern spin on Rotary’s classic styles and has also added two new ladies watches to the collection.”

The Aquaspeed collection has been one of the most popular Rotary watches since its release. The stylish nature of the of the collection alongside the practicality of the quality sportswatch collection.

Alongside the Aquaspeed watch, some other Rotary watches will be on display. These watches will be the Avenger Chronograph Sport, the Multi Function, the Limited Edition, Kensington and Monaco models.

120th Anniversary of Rotary Watches

This year is Rotary’s 120th anniversary. So much has changed since Rotary was originally founded in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland in 1895. In the following years Rotary have been incredibly successful, currently selling watches in 50 countries worldwide. It was voted a UK superbrand in 2006 and was also awarded with the Queen’s Award for International Trade 2014.

The Rotary UK office opened in 1907 and was very successful. Ever since Rotary became the official watch distributor for the British Army during the Second World War, Rotary have been a household name in the United Kingdom.

The company was founded by Moise Dreyfuss and is still owned by the Dreyfuss family. Robert Dreyfuss is currently the head of the company 120 years later. Rotary are the oldest family owned and run company having been passed down from generation to generation.

Rotary are already having a very good 2015. During July, Rotary launched five duty-free locations across the UK. Rotary will be hoping to celebrate a very successful final half of 2015 and an even more successful 121st anniversary!
