About DOXA

Founded in 1889 by Georges Ducommun in Le Locle, Switzerland, DOXA began with a vision of crafting exceptional timepieces that seamlessly combined precision and elegance. While the brand initially specialised in dress watches and chronographs, it pivoted in the mid-20th century toward sports and professional timepieces. DOXA made history in 1967 with the introduction of the SUB 300; the first dive watch to feature a vibrant orange dial for superior underwater visibility, as well as a unidirectional bezel incorporating the U.S. Navy’s no-decompression scale. This groundbreaking innovation redefined the dive watch industry and established DOXA as a trusted name among professional divers and adventurers; including legendary figures such as Jacques Cousteau. Today, DOXA continues to celebrate its rich heritage, reimagining iconic designs with modern technology while staying true to its pioneering spirit.

We’ve handpicked some of our favourite DOXA models to showcase the brand’s remarkable craftsmanship and attention to detail. Read on to discover our top picks!

DOXA SUB 300T Clive Cussler

The SUB 300T Clive Cussler is a striking tribute to both adventure and craftsmanship. Its handmade dial, inspired by a vintage compass, sets the tone for exploration, featuring luminous black indices, bold black hands, and a red-tipped second hand. A date window at 3 o’clock adds practicality, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures clear visibility in any environment. The 42.5mm aged stainless steel case is paired with a matching unidirectional bezel, each engraved with its own unique number. A thoughtful detail, red markings at 7, 15, and 31, pays homage to Clive Cussler’s birthday. Additionally, the case back showcases names of shipwrecks and historical artefacts discovered by NUMA. Inside, a Swiss automatic movement delivers precision with a 38-hour power reserve. An aged stainless steel “Beads of Rice” bracelet concludes the watch’s design. However, it also comes with a beige NATO strap for versatility.

DOXA SUB 300T Professional

In 1968, DOXA made history with the SUB 300T Conquistador; the first diver’s watch for the general public equipped with a helium release valve. Fifty years later, the legend returns with a modern refresh that honours the groundbreaking original. The new SUB 300T features the iconic orange dial that defined the brand, paired with luminous black baton indices and hands for exceptional legibility underwater. A date window at 3 o’clock adds functionality, while the 42.5mm case, crafted from 316L stainless steel, is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Built for extreme conditions, it is water-resistant to an incredible 1,200 meters. The patented unidirectional rotating bezel incorporates the U.S. Navy’s no-decompression scale for dive safety, while a Swiss automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve ensures precision. Completing the look is a vibrant orange FKM rubber strap for both durability and style.

DOXA SUB 200 Caribbean

Unveiled at Baselworld 2019, this diver’s watch perfectly marries heritage design with modern functionality. Its striking navy-blue dial is framed by a 42mm stainless steel cushion-style case and topped with a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. Both the dial and the sapphire-inlaid bezel feature Super-LumiNova accents, ensuring exceptional legibility even in the depths. Practical features include a unidirectional rotating bezel and a date display for added convenience. At its core, a Swiss automatic movement delivers precision with a 38-hour power reserve. Moreover, the screw-down crown guarantees water resistance up to 200 metres. Completing the look is a stainless steel “Beads of Rice” bracelet, equipped with a folding clasp and wetsuit extension for a secure and comfortable fit.
