King Seiko ‘Rising Dragon’ 100th Anniversary of Seiko 6L Limited Edition
Limited to just 700 pieces worldwide, this special King Seiko model commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Seiko name on a timepiece. Paying tribute to this milestone, King Seiko presents the ‘Rising Dragon’, a modern reinterpretation of the original 4502-8020. The striking teal dial features a repeating ‘Urokomon’ pattern, evoking the texture of dragon scales. The dial also exhibits silver-tone baton indices and hands, along with a date aperture at 3 o’clock. A 39.4mm curved stainless steel case, topped with a box-shaped sapphire crystal, frames the dial; providing great clarity as it does so. At its heart beats Seiko’s in-house automatic 6L35 calibre, featuring a bidirectional and semi-instantaneous winding system. This movement delivers reliable precision, accurate to +15/-10 seconds per day, as well as a 45-hour power reserve. Completing the look is a refined stainless steel narrow-link bracelet, rounding off this elegant limited edition from King Seiko.
King Seiko VANAC ‘Tokyo Twilight’
This King Seiko model is a modern reinterpretation of the iconic 1970s VANAC line, celebrating Tokyo’s evening skyline in rich violet-purple hues. Housed in a 41mm angular stainless steel case with a box-shaped sapphire crystal, it features a deeply three‑dimensional dial framed by a recessed ring and applied indices. The dial also includes the signature “V” motif at 12 o’clock and on the seconds hand counterweight; both nods to the VANAC heritage. Seiko’s in-house calibre 8L45 powers this watch, delivering exceptional precision as well as a robust 72-hour power reserve. And a first for King Seiko, the wearer can view this movement through the exhibition case back. An integrated brushed‑and‑mirror finished stainless steel bracelet concludes the design of this timepiece. While providing comfort and elegance, it ensures the watch adheres to the VANAC ethos of “Vibrant, Active, Novel, Alternative, Comfortable” design.
King Seiko KSK 6L ‘Garyu-Bai Red’
The King Seiko KSK 6L ‘Garyu-Bai Red’ is a refined modern reinterpretation of the acclaimed 1965 KSK model. Its striking red gradient dial draws inspiration from the iconic “Garyu‑bai” plum tree; a symbol deeply linked to the Kameido birthplace of King Seiko. Its vividly embossed plum blossom pattern evokes artistic heritage, while the crisp Dauphine hands and sharply angular case marry vintage elegance with contemporary finesse. Measuring 38.6mm in diameter, the brushed and polished stainless steel case houses Seiko’s slim in-house 6L35 automatic calibre. Offering ±15/‑10 seconds per day accuracy as well as a 45‑hour power reserve, it promises reliable timekeeping. The watch is also water-resistant up to 50 metres, so it’s more than suitable for daily wear. An elegant seven‑link bracelet and deployment clasp complete the package, making this King Seiko a standout timepiece that combines cultural storytelling with classic watchmaking.
