Whether you’re exploring coral reefs or just making a splash in everyday fashion, the ScubAqua series brings Swatch’s iconic flair to a rugged, ocean-ready timepiece. Let’s dive deeper into this new collection and explore how a dive watch can be fun, functional and undeniably fresh!

All-New Swatch ScubAqua Watches

The watches in this collection draw inspiration from the Scuba 200; Swatch’s first dive watch. Originally released as a 38mm quartz model capable of diving to 200 metres, it made a bold statement with its neon colour palette. In the following years, Swatch introduced more Scuba 200 variations, each bursting with playful and funky designs. Eventually, the line faded into obscurity. But that’s until now. Swatch is reviving the spirit of the original with the launch of the ScubAqua series; reimagining the Scuba 200 with a fresh, whimsical twist.

Turn any moment into a deep-sea adventure with the diving watches of the Swatch ScubAqua Collection. The collection, which comprises Blue Fire, Lion’s Mane, Black Sea Nettle, Aurelia Aurita and Egg Yolk, take their names from some of the world’s most remarkable jellyfish. And with three colourful variants and two more subdued options, there is a watch for all!

Key Design Features

Blue Fire combines icy blue and white tones, with a see-through blue dial, glowing hands, and a soft, cool-toned blue strap. Lion’s Mane pairs matte white with translucent red, showcasing luminous red hands, a jelly-clear dial, and a red-and-white strap; it pulses with energy. Black Sea Nettle stands out in an all-black design with semi-transparent details, luminous accents, and a sleek, stealth-inspired strap. Aurelia Aurita is entirely clear, enhanced by a vibrant tri-colour hand set (red, blue, and yellow), a soft matte white strap, and a smooth translucent case. Lastly, Egg Yolk features a striking blend of bright white and yellow, highlighted by a transparent yellow dial, luminous yellow hands, and a coordinating two-tone strap.

Each watch is encased in a bold 44mm housing crafted from matte bioceramic and glossy, transparent biosourced materials—carefully colour-matched to the dial. This larger size marks a clear departure from the more compact ’90s original, offering a stronger wrist presence. Despite its size, the unique case construction ensures a comfortable fit. At the heart of each watch is a reliable quartz movement. Delivering great precision, it proves these watches are as functional as they are stylish. The crown, positioned unconventionally at 10 o’clock, is strategically placed for both ergonomic ease and enhanced functionality. It also plays a key role in supporting the watch’s 100-metre water resistance. Although not suitable for deep-sea dives, this rating is plenty for swimming, snorkelling and other water-based activities.
