Equipped with a 3-axis compass and multi-band GPS enhanced by SatIQ™ technology, they offer pinpoint accuracy while intelligently managing battery life. Built with tactical operations in mind, these watches include a dedicated rucking activity, stealth mode, a kill switch, and access to the Applied Ballistics® solver (available via a one-time purchase through the AB Quantum mobile app). On the fitness front, they track heart rate, HRV status and VO2 max. They also house a suite of advanced training metrics. Plus, with features like smart notifications, Garmin Pay™, and onboard music storage, you stay connected and in control wherever you are.

With a fiber-reinforced polymer case and metal-reinforced bezel, Instinct® 3 – Tactical Edition makes a bold and durable statement. Each watch is tested to U.S. military standards for thermal, shock, and water resistance, giving you the confidence to take it into the harshest environments without hesitation. The solar models feature a tough Power Glass™ lens protecting the MIP display, while the AMOLED versions are equipped with chemically strengthened glass. Both options, however, are mission-ready and built to last. A black silicone strap secures each watch to the wrist. Comfortable, breathable and highly flexible, it guarantees a perfect fit.
To accommodate each individual’s need, Instinct 3 – Tactical Edition comes with two different case sizes: 45mm (010-02934-50) and 50mm (010-02935-50) and (010-03020-50). The 45mm model and one of the 50mm variants come in a Solar variety. While these do not include an AMOLED display, they still impress with their rugged designs and advanced tactical features. In terms of aesthetics, the new lineup keeps things sleek and purposeful with an all-black colourway. This stealthy, high-tech look isn’t just stylish—it’s functional, especially for those in uniform. The monochromatic design helps the watch blend seamlessly into tactical environments; reducing the risk of standing out when discretion matters most.
Across all the different-sized models, the battery life is very impressive. Each watch can last weeks without any need for recharging! At its best, the battery is able to last up to 24 days on the AMOLED model. However, the solar-charging models are where the impressive nature of the battery life shines through. With solar charging, the battery life is unlimited, and without solar charging, it lasts up to 40 days.
