The Dial and Movement
Maurice Lacroix has designed this timepiece to attract the attention of any onlooker. Its black, red and white colour scheme provides a strong and rich contrast; allowing it to stand out and showcase its contemporary appeal. Reminiscent of the ocean, the white dial features a Jura waves motif as well as red baton indices and hands. For optimal timekeeping in low-light situations, both the baton indices and hour and minute hands are coated with SuperLuminova. Furthermore, to increase the functionality of the timepiece, a date aperture features at 3 o’clock.
A sapphire crystal protects the dial; not only does it provide great clarity but it also showcases the durability levels that the watch possesses. As well as this, a fixed red bezel surrounds the dial. Adopting Maurice Lacroix’s infamous ‘six-claw- design, it is extremely eye-catching and further highlights the contemporary look of the watch. The Case and Finishing Touches
A black #tide case frame the dial. Measuring 40mm in diameter, it is an inclusive size that both men and women can wear with style! #tide is an extremely durable material and its production has a much smaller carbon footprint than virgin plastic. Hence Maurice Lacroix has used this ocean-bound upcycled plastic throughout the construction of the watch. A constant reminder of your sustainable purchase, the #tide logo features on the case back. Moreover, aided by the screw-down crown, the timepiece is water-resistant up to 100 metres.
A red and black rubber strap come with this Aikon #tide. Both straps feature the Maurice Lacroix ‘m’ logo underneath the case and fasten with a #tide buckle. The interchangeable nature of the strap means you can have one colour one day and the other the next. So essentially you have two watches for the price of one!
