The All-New Seiko Sumo Solar GMT Watches

These brand-new watches are designed in the iconic Seiko ‘sumo’ shape. This case shape was affectionately nicknamed by fans of the brand due to its distinctive size and the shape of its 12 o’clock marker. In addition, both of the watches are equipped with a GMT hand, providing a brilliant level of functionality. Both of the new watches are water resistant up to 20 bar, meaning that they are suitable for most swimming and diving activities.

The bold aqua-coloured dial of this model is accented with an elegantly pressed pattern design. The vibrant blue of the dial is reminiscent of the ocean, furthering the diver’s watch aesthetic. The dial is adorned with luminous hands and indices with a bold orange GMT hand. A date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock. Sapphire glass protects the dial and its features while a blue bezel frames it. This watch is powered by a quartz solar movement that uses light energy to keep the watch ticking.
