These two new watches are named after and inspired by the Japanese word ‘Akebono’. This word refers to the twilight time at dawn when the sky lightens at sunrise. This time of day is very special to many as it is a time of anticipation and new expectations. Both of the timepieces exhibit a three-dimensional dial that is detailed with a traditional ‘Asanoha’ Japanese hemp leaf pattern. This pattern is a symbol of growth and success, giving these timepieces a higher level of meaning. Each of the timepieces exhibits a graduated blue dial that has been designed in the hues of the morning sky. Each model is adorned with rose gold indices and hands which resemble rays of light shining through a twilight sky.
