Who is Shenron?

Shenron is one of the more powerful characters in the show. Also known as the “Eternal Dragon”, he is summoned by the titular Dragon Balls. Shenron is a traditional four-toed Chinese dragon. He’s green with brown antlers and red eyes. When someone collects all 7 of the Dragon balls, Shenron is summoned and can grant the summoner 1 wish. After, he returns to the centre of the Earth where he sleeps until summoned again. Shenron is known as a neutral character who will grant (almost) any wish despite the intentions behind the wish. As a character, he is, however, seen as helpful and polite.

The Swatch Shenron watch uses the Big Bold watch line as a base. Like with the rest of the Dragon Ball Z watches, the design is inspired by the character design. The silicone strap of the watch is green with scale-like detailing made to resemble Shenron’s skin. The underside of the strap is also made to resemble the dragon’s underside. The black case is made of plastic. It has a red crown placed at the 2 o’clock position. The dial itself is also black. All seven of the dragon balls are shown alongside Shenron’s claw. Additionally, the phrase “Tell me your wish” is written in gold colour on the black bezel. This quartz model is splash-resistant and should not be submerged in water.
