According to critics No Time to Die has become a fitting stylish addition to the series.
The Watches and Our Recommendations
For the past 25 years, the James Bond franchise has partnered with OMEGA watches. It is no surprise that for this new instalment, the high-end luxury brand was chosen to kit out the superspy once again. In No Time To Die, 007 is seen wearing the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition. The watch is made of titanium which ensures it is durable and lightweight.
Apart from Mr. Bond, the other characters in the movie also wear impressive timepieces. New agent Nomi wears a Seamaster Aqua Terra, while Moneypenny wears two different watches a De Ville Prestige and a Co-Axial Master Chronometer.
If you, like us, want to unleash your inner James Bond at a much more affordable price, we suggest the following timepieces. Though not exactly the same as the models worn in the movie, these watches would definitely hold their own in a fight, even against a superspy.
To emulate the Omega Seamaster Diver we suggest the Oris Divers Sixty Five. The watch features the same bronze, silver and black colour scheme as the Omega. The 40 mm case and the bracelet are both made of stainless steel. The black dial of the watch is contrasted by the bronze coloured indices and hands. The unidirectional bezel is bordered in bronze as well. The markings on it, however, are white. The hands and indices are luminescent. A date aperture is featured at the 6 o’clock position. To guarantee the watch’s durability, the dial is covered by a sapphire crystal. The movement is automatic with a 38-hour power reserve. In addition, the watch has a water resistance of up to 100 meters or 10 bars.
If you’d like to be like Nomi, or you know someone who loves her strong character, we suggest this Tissot PR100. The style of this watch closely matches that in the movie. Securing the watch is a black leather strap. The stainless steel case measures 33mm in diameter. Under the domed sapphire crystal is a black dial, contrasted by luminescent hands and baton indices. At the 6 o’clock position is a date aperture. The movement of the watch is quartz with an EOL function.
As a meaningful gift this watch features an appealing dual-tone design. The bracelet and the case are made of high-quality stainless steel and has rose-gold elements. The elegant high-end silhouette is highlighted by the beautiful white mother-of-pearl dial. Replacing the indices are 11 diamonds. In addition, the dial design is completed by rose-gold hands. A date aperture is placed at the 3 o’clock position. The watch has a quartz movement with a EOL indicator. A water-resistance of 5 bars ensures the watch will survive a rainy day.
This women’s Raymond Weil Maestro resembles another one of the watches which Moneypenny is seen wearing, though with a different colour palette. The rose-gold dial measures 31 mm in diameter. Securing the watch is a blue leather strap. The dial is elegant, made of white mother-of-pearl, contrasted by rose-gold hour-markers and blued steel hands. In addition the diamonds added to the dial accent the luxurious tone. The model has an automatic movement with a 38 hour-power reserve. The watch also features a sapphire crystal.
