Tissot have an incredibly large and devoted fanbase, so any new launches from the brand are eagerly anticipated. The Tissot Seastar 1000 collection was precisely designed for thrill seekers and adventurers who needed a robust timepiece that could accompany them from the depths of the ocean to the ends of the earth. Each Seastar 1000 model is made for exploring deep water, and the collection features timepieces with a variety of movements and complications to ensure there is a perfect model for every collector and adventurer.

Over the course of 2021, Tissot have expanded the Tissot Seastar 1000 collection considerably with the additions of nine new watches so far. Each model is different from the last to provide a range of options within the collection. Fans of the Seastar models will eagerly await each new launch to see what innovative features Tissot have included in the latest models.

Seastar 1000 Gent Automatic

Earlier in the year, Tissot launched two new Seastar 1000 Gent Automatic watches in two new shades. These watches are perfectly designed for divers and water sports enthusiasts and they as water resistant up to a pressure of 30 bar (300 metres). The bright dial of each model is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and framed by a black ceramic bezel.

These models are available with a blue dial (T1204071104102) or a green dial (T1204071109100). Both feature luminous indices and hands for easy readability in the dark, and a date aperture at 6 o’clock for optimal timekeeping. The dial of each watch is framed by a 316L stainless steel case that measures 43mm in width and 12.7mm in thickness.

Both of the new Seastar 1000 Gent Automatic models are an exciting addition to the collection as they are powered by a Swiss automatic Powermatic 80.111 movement. This movement uses 23 jewels and provides the watch with a power reserve of up to 80 hours. Both models are finished with a stainless steel bracelet that fastens with a jewellery clasp.

Slightly later in the year, Tissot launched three new Seastar 1000 Chrono Quartz models. One features a red dial (T1204171742100), another a blue dial (T1204171104102), and the final model has a green dial (T1204171109100). Each of the models are powered by a quartz ETA G10.212 movement. The watches have 30-minutes and 1/10 of a second counters, ADD and SPLIT functions and a central 60-seconds chronograph hand. The watches all have an end-of-life function.

The dial of each of the watches features luminous hands and indices with a date aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock. A black unidirectional steel bezel with an aluminium ring surrounds the dials and scratch resistant sapphire crystal protects it. The crystal is treated to be antireflective on both sides to ensure that the dial can be read clearly under bright light.

Each of these new watches is completed with a stainless steel case that measures 45.5mm in width and 12.8mm in thickness. Each of the three watches features a screw down crown and case back which aids in the water resistance rating of up to 30 bar (300 metres). The red dial model comes with a black silicone strap and both the blue and green dial models are finished with a stainless steel bracelet.

Tissot Seastar 1000 Collection

This model features a striking blue and rose gold colour scheme that is sure to be eye-catching on the wrist. The blue gradient dial features luminous indices and rose gold hands with luminous detailing. A date aperture is positioned at 6 o’clock. The dial is surrounded by a black ceramic bezel ring that rotates in an anticlockwise motion. The dial is framed by a rose gold PVD plated stainless steel case that measures 43mm in width and 12.7mm in thickness. This model features an exhibition case back that exposes the Powermatic 80.111 Swiss automatic movement within. This watch is secured on the wrist using a blue fabric strap that fastens with a butterfly clasp with push buttons.

Tissot Watches

The bold green dial of this watch is very on-trend and comes in a shade that is reminiscent of the depths of the ocean. The dial exhibits luminous indices with silver hour, minute and second hands. A date aperture is placed in the 6 o’clock position for optimal timekeeping. The dial is protected by scratch resistant sapphire glass and surrounded by a black ceramic bezel.

This watch has been precisely designed to be worn as a diver’s watch with a water resistance rating of up to 300 metres (30 bar). The 43mm stainless steel case houses a Powermatic 80.111 movement which gives the watch an 80-hour power reserve. This model is finished with a stainless steel bracelet.

This chronograph model is available with an eye-catching green dial or vibrant red dial with three sub dials and a date aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock. Both of the dials exhibit luminous indices and silver hands with luminous elements. A black, aluminium, anti-clockwise rotating bezel surrounds the dial and anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects them. The dials are framed by a stainless steel case that measures 45.5mm in diameter.

The watches are water resistant up to 300 metres (30 bar) and are powered by a Swiss quartz ETA G10.212 movement. This movement powers the 30-minutes and 1/10 of a second counters, the ADD and SPLIT functions and the central 60-seconds chronograph hand. The watches also have an end-of-life indicator to ensure that the diver is never left unprepared. These models are finished with a stainless steel bracelet that is fastened using a folding clasp with safety and diver extension.
