Bering’s Classic Collection

Bering's Classic Collection

Inspired by the beauty and infinite vastness of the Arctic, in 2008 the watch brand Bering was born. A homage to the pure, breathtaking landscape of the northernmost part of the globe, Rene Kaerskov and his two business partners Michael Witt Johansen and Lars Gram-Skjønnemann created a watch brand with a timeless, clean and durable design. The brand is named after Vitus Bering, as its founders were inspired by his daring exploits. A life lead in the pursuit of unknown lands, Bering was a Danish explorer and sailor during the late 17th early 18th century. The explorer was the first European to land on the shores of Alaska.

Guided by an appreciation and love for the continent, Bering understands the importance of wildlife and habitat conservation. The brand has led many charity campaigns which have focused on preserving the environment. Bering’s watches are intrinsically connected to the ethereal beauty of the Arctic. Simplistic clear dials and a streamlined silhouette mimic the gleaming ice-covered landscape. In addition to the crisp clean designs, the brand uses highly durable high-class materials.

Bering’s Classic collection has set an unprecedented standard for the brand. The models are refined and classy with a modern design. Ranging from having an ultra-smart to a more casual look, all the watches still hold the distinct Bering charm. A versatile collection, the timepieces are ideal to be worn every day as an elegant accessory or during formal and evening events.

The Bering Pebble watch has a truly unique design. With its avant-garde shape, the case gives the watch an unmistakable silhouette and accentuates the modern look of the model. The case and Milanese style bracelet are made of stainless steel. The bracelet is in a matching blue to the brushed steel dial. A large crown, positioned at 1 o’clock adds to the futuristic abstract design of the timepiece.

The monochrome watch looks elegant yet practical. The bracelet and large round case are made of blackened steel. A sapphire crystal protects the polished black dial. The model features a day and a date subdial.

For those who want to inject some colour into their style, Bering’s Classic collection includes more colourful models. The watch is sophisticated, with a clean uncomplicated dial. An ideal dress watch to add a splash of colour to any outfit without overpowering the overall look. The polished steel case is kept silver to contrast the vibrant red of the Milanese bracelet. The brushed dial is in a matching red. The contrasting silver hands are the only decoration on the dial, apart from the Bering brand name, also in silver.
