Today we had the pleasure of viewing the women’s Ovo energy tour as they passed through Kenilworth on stage three of the tour.
There are five stages to the race; the first stage saw the world’s cyclists go from Framlingham to Southwold, the second stage was from Rushden to Daventry, the third is from Atherstone to Royal Leamington Spa which is the stage we are at now. Tomorrow the cyclists will embark on stage four which starts in Evesham and finishes in Worcester and finally on Sunday, the fifth and final stage is from Dolgellau and ends in Colwyn Bay.
Here are the highlights of stage one:
And also the highlights of stage two:
Here is some of our own footage of the third stage, as the cyclists sprint down the Kenilworth high street, past our local shop:

We are keeping track of this event not only because we are supporting our country but as we are also supporting the official timekeeper, Festina, of course it comes back to watches! Festina was founded in 1902 in Switzerland and then became part of the Festina Lotus group. We stock a variety of Festina watches on our website for both men and women.
Our Festina Recommendations For Her:
In light of the Women’s Tour we thought we would recommend some women’s timepieces created by the official timekeepers, Festina.
If elegance and sophistication is a look your strive for then Festina’s Two Tone Stainless Steel Bracelet might be a great accessory to your wardrobe. It is well suited for formal dinners but also a watch that can be worn on an everyday occasion in a work environment.
If you like a watch which sparkles then this watch may just hit the spot with crystal set bezel, certainly a model to catch the eye of your friends and work colleagues.
Alternatively, if you prefer a look which is less subtle, we also recommend Festina’s Ladies Watch With Swarovski Crystals Mesh Bracelet, its main feature being the glitter covered dial.
This up to date Festina timepiece also shows off a mesh bracelet which is a new and upcoming trend, especially in the watch market and is also water resistant up to 50metres so you don’t have to worry if you get caught in the rain.
And finally for our women’s watch recommendations we have picked out a model which is not only bold in style but elite in function, Festina’s Multi-function Ceramic Watch.
Watches generally tend to do more that serve the purpose of looking good as an accessory. If you tend to look for watches which are beneficial to your lifestyle with more than one function this makes a great addition to your ladies collection. The functions of this watch include date display, day display as well as 24hour time.
All of the watches mentioned on this blog post are currently in stock. For any questions please visit our website, contact us via phone on 01926298499 or alternatively if you are local to the midlands you can also visit our watch shop on the Kenilworth high street.
