Rotary Watches 2018 Windsor Additions

Rotary Watches Limited isn’t a new brand by any means but they manage to keep up with the new and upcoming brands on both materials and technology. Rotary has won a number of awards worldwide for the stunning classic timepieces that they produce. Founded in 1895 by Moise Dreyfuss in the Swiss town of La Chaux de Fonds and to this day Rotary is still owned by the Dreyfuss Group.

To increase sales on their already popular collection the manufacturer has added four sub dials to its Windsor classic dress watch so that the dial now shows the month, date, day and moonphase. These are all features that Rotary are known for in their other collections but it is the first time a moonphase and month sub dial has been added to a Windsor. The newly added features compliment the watch nicely and add to the already sophisticated style of the collection.

Moise Dreyfuss dedicated his life to designing and manufacturing only the most beautiful watches with something he called ‘Timeless Elegance’ and this has definitely not gone amiss here. The colour combinations, bracelet and links styles as well as the dial layouts all add to the brands identity and are instantly recognisable as Rotary timepieces.

The new Windsor models feature a silver white stamped guilloche dial with roman numerals and leaf iconic blue hands. They all have a 40mm stainless steel case which is available in silver or gold plated and they are all waterproof up to 50m, this being said we would not recommend wearing the leather versions in water just because water can damage leather. The four new additions are powered by a quartz movement and the clasp varies depending on whether you choose the stainless steel bracelet version or the leather bracelet version.

The Windsor collection has always been known as one of the most exceptional family of classic dress watches that Rotary produce, this is mostly due to the plethora of functions which are offered within each and every timepiece. We believe that these four new Windsor Multi Function additions hints at the brands rich and decorated heritage whilst also reaching out to embrace its future, an example of Rotary’s watch making at its finest.
