Kronaby watches have joined the growing list of sponsors at this years WatchPro awards. The Watchmakers from Sweden have joined Mondaine, WOLF, LBS, Redd retail group and Ingersoll as official sponsors of the even which is taking place on the 22nd November at Victorian ballroom on Trafalgar Square in Central London. The WatchPro Awards is to honour the very best of the UK’swatch retail business and the award categories range from independent luxury boutiques to online stores like ourselves. Watch retailers are able to vote for the brands that they like the most and feel have done the most for them this last year and watch brands are able to vote for the retailers that they believe have performed the best and have the best store presence. The range of questions vary for both brands and retailers and we know that we are in the voting shortlist for “Online only watch retailer of the year” so if you’re a brand that we stock and you’re reading this get voting now, here’s a link!

“This is an event (WatchPro Awards) created to celebrate the extraordinary success of the British watch industry, and the people that have contributed to making this one of the world’s most professional and sophisticated markets,” says Rob Corder, managing editor of WatchPro.

The nomination process started back in July and WatchPro sorted these nominations into a shortlist for people to start voting on which started in August and is almost ended! WatchPro will then list the finalists who then have to wait till the event night on the 22nd November to see if they have won an award. We attended the event last year when we were shortlisted as a finalist for the “Online only watch retailer of the year” and had an amazing time with all our brands, reps and other retailers who attended.

“Being a sponsor of such a key event in the UK watch calendar shows not only how committed we are to the UK market, but also that we see Kronaby becoming a key player within that market,” says Henrik Jarl, marketing director at Kronaby.
