Today, Seiko<\/a> has introduced its latest Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph watches! With a sleek, slim, and modern design, these watches offer a fresh, contemporary look. The Astron, a favourite amongst fans, was the world\u2019s first GPS solar watch to never need a battery change. It runs on light and automatically adjusts to your time zone using advanced GPS technology. Core Features of the All-New Seiko Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph Watches<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The colourway of each watch may vary, but the design and features remain universal. Under the dual-curved sapphire crystal glass, each model features a dial with a horizontal line pattern. Additionally, each dial features luminous hands and baton indices with a vertical sub-dial layout and a date aperture at the 4:30 position. With an automatic hand position alignment function, a chronograph up to 12 hours in 1\/20 second increments, and a day display, each watch impresses with its great functionality. Further enhancing this functionality, UTC zone markings feature on the inner bezel of each model. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As their name suggests, each model comes with an array of GPS functions. From a function to prevent the GPS signal reception (in flight mode), to a GPS signal reception function and a \u00a0satellite acquisition status display function, the watches are perfect for those who travel frequently. Each watch also includes a perpetual calendar, a time transfer function and a world time function for 38 different cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each watch features a new in-house 5X83 solar-powered movement, that not only charges efficiently but also features a 1\/20th of a second chronograph function for measuring elapsed time. The subdial at 12 o\u2019clock is for the chronograph feature, the subdial at 9 o\u2019clock for setting modes, and the subdial at 6 o\u2019clock for a dual-time feature. Moreover, the movement is accurate to \u00b1 15 seconds per month and it has a power reserve of 6 months at full charge. The watch can be charged by any light source, either natural sunlight or artificial light, for convenience. Thanks to this, they are the perfect pieces for those always on the go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Measuring 44.3mm in diameter, a super-hard coated titanium case frames the dial. This case aids the watch’s 100 metres of water resistance and protects the in-house 5X83 solar-powered movement that powers the model. On the case back, the wearer can view an engraving of a three-dimensional globe, the watch\u2019s serial number alongside the words \u2018LIMITED EDITION\u2019 and the limited edition number.
