Many things we do in our day to day lives are to try and showcase our individuality however it can be hard to find something that has not been done before. Klokers aim to provide you with your very own timepiece in order to express your singularity. Klokers describe themselves as “halfway between watchmaking, fashion and design” and we agree, their unique style puts a big spin on traditional timepieces, their dial designs, materials that you can choose from and variable colour combinations allow their wearers to create a timepiece for them.<\/p>\n

Their outlook on horology and watchmaking is a breath of fresh air in the watchmaking industry where a lot of brands want to push model after model of designs that have been seen before and is only available in a maximum of two or so colours. Klokers offers watches and much more, they want to offer you as many choices as possible so that you have a watch that you absolutely love and want to show off to everyone.<\/p>\n

The Klokers<\/a>‘ Universe<\/h2>\n

The customisation is something that really makes Klokers’ watches truly unique, each watch head is detachable which allows you to wear your watch a number of different ways rather than having a watch for each occasion. You can simply switch the watch from a strap to a leather pocket or even a stainless steel brand. The watch heads are attached by a patented fixing system which was developed by the brand. They call this “The Klokers’ Key”.<\/p>\n

It is the key to unlock a world of interchangeable customisation where you are free to showcase your own style in your timepiece, you can choose from a virtually limitless combination of watch heads, colours and materials.<\/p>\n

KLOKERS<\/a>‘ TECHNOLOGY<\/h2>\n

Klokers started out on Kickstarter<\/a> and it was backed by 2,046 members of the public who pledged \u20ac463,432 in total to help bring this project<\/a> to life. One of the things that pledges stated drew them to this brand was the use of state-of-the-art and innovative technologies.\u00a0Their watch head key fixing system and their innovative time display are both patented due to their incredible design. The brand has also managed to offer these impressive Swiss made timepieces at a very affordable price.<\/p>\n

Each and every component that Klokers have used has been developed again and again through extensive research and testing so that it meets the highest standard required by the brand for each watch.<\/p>\n

KLOKERS<\/a>‘ DESIGN<\/h2>\n

Now that we have taken a look at the watches assembly and the movement lets take a look at the other main difference with Klokers watches. This is the way the watch portrays time. Unlike most Swiss brands who want to keep the history and heritage of traditional Swiss watchmaking alive Klokers are looking to break the mould. They display the time in a very non-conventional manner as well as using a very nontraditional complication as a unique way of displaying the time. The only other brands I know of that do this that we stock are without a doubt Dietrich<\/a> and Meistersinger<\/a> who both use very individual ways of displaying the time of their watches.<\/p>\n

Klokers as a brand really wants to highlight the uniqueness of their customer by displaying their colour choices and material choices as boldly as possible, they do this by making the circular pivot point for their markers the colour that the customer has chosen. The brands philosophy is “to question a society that moves at 100 miles per hour and often forgets to slow things down and appreciate life.”<\/em>
\nWe definitely live in an era where everything is switched on and connected permanently in one way or another. It’s a place where everything appears to be accelerating at an incredible pace and it can be hard to keep up.
