Following on from the announcement of Raymond Weil’<\/a>s new freelancer tribute to iconic Australian rock and roll band AC\/DC<\/a>, the luxury Swiss watchmakers have now unveiled a new collaboration with Marshall Amplification<\/a>. Part of its ever growing Music Icons Series, featuring such names as The Beatles<\/a>, David Bowie<\/a>, Gibson Guitars<\/a> and the fore mentioned Rock legends AC\/DC<\/a> that was also announced at this years Baselworld Show<\/a>, this new collaboration sees a brand new watch made as part of the Tango collection<\/a> which we will look at down below.<\/p>\n

Marshall Amplification<\/h2>\n

An English company, based in Milton Keynes,\u00a0that designs and manufactures music\u00a0amplifiers,\u00a0speaker cabinets,and personal\u00a0headphones\u00a0and earphones, was founded 56 years ago, and produces some of the most highly esteemed and most recognized guitar amplifiers around the world. Known for the “Marshall Crunch”, a signature sound created by Marshall after guitarists such as Pete Townshend had previously complained about current amps not having the right sound, or a high enough volume. This has lead to the brand growing and growing into a world renowned label, providing equipment for the likes of Cream,\u00a0The Jimi Hendrix Experience\u00a0and\u00a0Led Zeppelin, proving their class and quality, whilst maintaining their faith to their humble roots.<\/p>\n

Raymond Weil Tango<\/h2>\n

The watch itself features subtle design inspirations from Marshall, with a black PVD case, and a dial that is created from the same texture as an amplifiers front grille.\u00a0The white ring around the circumference of the dial represents the finish on the Marshall amps, whilst the dial decoration is in place to recall the\u00a0Marshall \u201cdefender\u201d paper. Limited to only 1,000 pieces, this is a wonderful limited edition watch to add to any collection.<\/p>\n
