In our modern age the competition between watches and smart phones is only becoming greater the common question being, why do i need a watch? We have visited this subject before but if the 5 reasons we gave you previously didn’t persuade you then perhaps we will have more luck this time round. It’s Convenient<\/h2>\n

There are certain times throughout your day that you might not be able to use your smart phone, the most common being when you are driving. Usually your smart phone is situated in your pocket, so rather than spending a minute or two getting it out, if you are wearing a watch you can check the time with a flick of your wrist. Smart phones are also notorious for running out of battery as their battery life is typically between 8-10 hours whereas a watch battery can last up to 2 years.<\/p>\n

Functionality<\/h2>\n

The sole purpose for the creation of watches was to tell the time and watches can now tell the time in many different environments. Now watches have the technological advancements to tell time under water, a capability that smart phones have not yet mastered, therefore watches can support the needs of scuba divers and other underwater jobs. Watches are also incredibly essential in jobs such as the military and also for pilots.<\/p>\n

As watches have many different functionalities they also are flexible to many different styles.
