It was back in 2017 that Seiko announced they were releasing two cocktail inspired watches<\/a> as part of their Baselworld<\/a> announcement, the watches were inspired by cocktail bar and the colours you see such as blue, pink, yellow and green. They were great additions to the mechanical range that Seiko have manufactured known as the ‘Presage’ collection. There was eight models in total each inspired by a different cocktail, all of the watches were received by the Baselworld press and public very well indeed and they have now become solid fixtures in the Presage collection<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Starlight cocktail is inspired by brilliance and mystery of the night sky.<\/p>\n

The Sakura Fubuki cocktail expresses the beauty of cherry blossom in the spring breeze.<\/p>\n

This year Seiko is planning on a few new releases that are set to wow the public, press and retailers and give them a huge drive forward for this year, we have recently had a visit from our new representative for Seiko and although she has informed us of a few new models that we can order her lips were shut about any Baselworld top secret releases but she did say it was something we definitely need to keep an eye out for!<\/p>\n

As we aren’t able to tell you too much about the upcoming show apart from that you should keep an eye out on our blog where we will be doing a live releases for the new models at Baselworld as they are released from the Baselworld Website<\/a>\u00a0we have decided to tell you about the new models that we have ordered and will be out soon, so without further ado lets dive in…<\/p>\n

\"Prospex<\/a><\/p>\n

Prospex Mini Sea Turtle PADI Automatic Divers Watch<\/a><\/h2>\n

Product code: SRPC41K1<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

First up we have the new Seiko Padi Sea Turtle Mini Automatic watch, this men’s watch features an automatic Japanese movement and hardlex glass. It is very similar in design to the Padi Sea Turtle watch that they have currently in black (SRP779K1<\/a>) however this one is smaller in case diameter by approximately 3.7mm. The dial features a date display and bold hour markers that glow after being exposed to light, the watch features a rubber silicone strap which is blue where as the SRP779K1 is a black strap and it features the same standard buckle as the previous normal sized model. The watch has a water resistance rating of 200m and still has that turtle shaped case that Seiko fans know and love so much. You can purchase this watch here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Seiko Prospex PADI Recreation Blue Dial Blue Resin Strap<\/a><\/h2>\n

The second watch in the Seiko new additions is also from the Seiko Prospex range and continues with the very blue theme, its called the Padi Recreation watch and it comes with a blue resin strap just like the\u00a0SRPC41K1<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>The bezel on this watch is a bold black in colour with a very jagged blue edge to it which gives it a great grip to turn the rotating bezel. The black colour makes the numbers stand out which is perfect for deep diving and the blue edge highlights where you need to place your fingers for optimum grip under water.<\/p>\n

The black to blue gradient is definitely a stand out design and with the wavy pattern to the dial too it really immerses you in the diving world. The watch is 200 metres water resistant and we already have two members of staff who are looking to buy one so if you are thinking about purchasing this watch you need to be quick!<\/p>\n

Third up we have this Seiko Alarm Chronograph which is stunning, its classic design and 316L stianless steel case and bracelet make for a solid looking, nicely weighty timepiece that you will be proud to show off on your wrist. The watch features a accurate perpetual calendar that you can always rely on so you never have to advance the date for short months it simply does it all for you.<\/p>\n

Other features of the watch include day indicator at the twelve o’clock position with a stylishly designed tiny blue hand and a chronograph with a moon style designed end and arrow point at the other. The watch emanates sophistication and is the perfect working mans watch.<\/p>\n

The fourth watch on the list is this Mens Chronograph perpetual watch which has the same functionality as the previous watch however it is features on a leather strap and the dial is black instead of white. The dial showcases the perpetual calendar and day of the week, the style of the numbers on the dial are very styled and has serif corners that give the dial a more sophisticated style to it. The watch has a polished silver stainless steel case to protect the movement which partners with the bold black dial and strap really well giving the bezel and case some great looking shadows.<\/p>\n

Seiko Mens Prospex Land Automatic Compass Watch<\/a><\/h2>\n

The fifth watch on this feature list is this stunning blue Prospex Land compass watch which is set to be a very strong contender this year with Seiko. We will start with the watches biggest feature the double crown, the second crown handles the compass allowing you to rotate it around the watch with a simple clockwise or counterclockwise turn. This is perfect for any outdoor excursion as navigation is always a key point of any explorers adventure whether it be big or small. The watch strap is a deep blue nylon with a black underside which is very in keeping with the watches colour style and theme. Inside the watch is a Seiko automatic movement manufactured in Japan which features the date display and the compass complication, this is all carefully housed in by black ION plated 316L stainless steel. The numbers, logo markers and compass bearings are all marked in white and coated in a luminous paint for optimum night time viewing.<\/p>\n
