But Vacheron Constantin<\/a> have decided to make a watch which can stand alone as one of the most complicated wrist watches of all time. The Les Cabinotiers Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication 3600<\/a> has been in development for five years and is one of the most exciting watches being unveiled this year.<\/p>\n

This one of a kind watch which was the work of one master watchmaker unsurprisingly carries an incredibly high price tag. But just how much are these watch complications worth?<\/p>\n

The Most Complicated Wristwatch<\/h2>\n

Vacheron Constantin have form for crafting incredibly complicated watches. In 2015, they created the \u201cWorld\u2019s Most Complicated<\/a>\u201d watch for the brand’s 260th<\/sup> anniversary. This pocket watch has 57 complications (although some experts put the number of complications above 60) and ended up in the record books.<\/p>\n

Two years later, Vacheron Constantin are back once again with the most complicated wristwatch. Many would expect that these two watches would have been created together \u2013 but these two watches were actually created completely separately. Neither development team were aware of the others existence during development. This is perhaps part of the reason why these complicated watches are completely different. Not one of the 57 complications from the \u201cMost Complicated Watch\u201d feature in this wristwatch. That means these if one lucky person owned both watches they’d have 80 complications to play about with in total.<\/p>\n

It is not just the complications in this watch which should excite watch lovers \u2013 the watch looks beautiful. Which is no surprise since exactly two years of development time was spent on the design of the watch. For this reason, the watch can boast being an unbelievable mix of form and function.<\/p>\n

The Les Cabinotiers Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication 3600 features 23 incredible complications in total. An incredible achievement, especially when you consider that the watch was designed and build by one incredible master watchmaker. The complications included in the watch include a calendar and moonphase indication \u2013 this shows day, date and month. A perpetual calendar, a day\/night indication. If you want to know the precise moon phase and the age of the moon then the watch can help you with that too!<\/p>\n

If you’re a fan of solar functions then you will be happy to see that this watch boasts a lot of them. It boasts sunrise time, sunset time, length of day, length of day, length of night, zodiac signs and many more solar functions!
