To celebrate the 65th anniversary of Squale<\/a>, the brand has introduced the new Master Titanium 120 ATM model! As the name suggests, the watch boasts an impressive pressure resistance of 120 ATM; a major improvement from the previous model in the 1960s. This timepiece is also the first Squale to be made entirely of grade 5 Titanium and the first bracelet to be designed for the ‘Von B\u00fcren Case’. Destined to remain in the collection for a long time, the Squale Master is not one to be missed. The New Squale Master Titanium 120 ATM<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Dial and Case<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

With a similar look to the first Squale Master from the 1960s, this model exhibits a three-layer ‘sandwich’ black dial. The bottom layer consists of a disk entirely in SuperLuminova Old Radium and a perforated dial is added on top; this process enhances the luminescence of the indexes. The third and final layer consists of the applique indexes that outline the cutouts of the dial. Its brushed finish complements the finish on the hands and case. A domed and anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial. So even if you’re at the depths of the ocean, clarity levels are excellent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Measuring 42mm in diameter, a grade 5 Titanium case frames the dial. Not only is grade 5 Titanium extremely lightweight but it is also extremely durable and has excellent corrosion resistance. Hence it makes total sense that Squale has made this timepiece entirely from said material. Moreover, a brushed ceramic unidirectional bezel surrounds the dial. Since it can only rotate anti-clockwise, it’s a safer way of tracking bottom time whilst diving. Thanks to the 4mm-thick glass and helium escape valve, this Squale Master boasts an incredible pressure resistance of 120 ATM. 120 ATM in pressure resistance equates to an impressive 1,200m in water resistance; that’s four times greater than the standard 300m required for professional dive watches today! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Movement and Finishing Touches<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Housed within the grade 5 titanium case is a Sellita SW 200-1 Elabor\u00e9\u00a0movement. Beating at a frequency of 28’800 A\/H (4 HZ) and with 26 jewels, it provides the Squale Master with a 38-hour power reserve. Additionally, the automatic movement has an Elabor\u00e9\u00a0grade and an improved accuracy of +\/-7 seconds per day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bracelet made entirely from grade 5 titanium completes the design of this model. Inspired by one of the Master bracelets made in the 1960s, it guarantees maximum comfort to the wearer. The buckle, also made of titanium, features a deployment clasp with a safety system that includes side wings for release. These side wings make it easier to swap the titanium bracelet for the black tropic rubber strap that also comes with the watch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
