Tw Steel<\/a> have announced a new timepiece to celebrate their new partnership with Red Bull<\/a>. Energy Drink and extreme sports sponsor Red bull is a international brand who is one of the racing world’s most popular and sought after sponsors, it was in Amsterdam on August the 10th that the relationship between the two brands was announced as the Red Bull Holden Racing Team. Tw Steel is the official timekeeper and thought it would be only right to commemorate this by launching a TS Steel Red Bull Holden Racing Team Special Edition which is going to be based on its new Volante<\/a> collection.<\/p>\n

The team have been breaking records for over 10 years as Triple Eight Race Engineering<\/a> and now for the first time they have decided to combine forces with Holden and Red Bull, two of Australia’s most iconic brands, to create the team of 2017. The new TW Steel model features a 48mm case housed in solid stainless steel, the Red Bull Holden Racing Team Special Edition represents the re brand perfectly in colour, style and ferocity. \u00a0We can’t wait for them to arrive so we can see them first hand.<\/p>\n

Back when they were Triple Eight, they constantly set the bar higher and higher by pushing the boundaries of what was possible within racing and the technology used. The brand has worked effortlessly year after year to not only build themselves to where they are today but also their fan base because at the heart of every racing team is their fans. The loyal and committed racing enthusiasts\u00a0recognise the team as one of the most daring sets of racers ever to rise from down under.<\/p>\n

The new watch boasts the racing teams triumphant career in the world of motorsports. With six Bathurst<\/a> wins, seven drivers’ championships, eight teams’ championships as well as over 150 race wins and 300 podiums. The racing brand needed a watch that screamed number 1.<\/p>\n

The Red Bull Holden Racing Team Special Edition has a chronograph, a 48 mm stainless steel case, a PVD blue coated bezel and a screw down crown. It is in fact a modified version of the new Volante. The watches movement is the trustworthy Miyota<\/a> 6S21 chronograph movement and it also sports a luxurious, hardened mineral crystal with sapphire coating.<\/p>\n

The genuine carbon dial is emblazoned with the Red Bull Holden Racing Team logo and the PVD blue coated case back also proudly shows the team logo. The strap is a rugged textile design with red stitching, in keeping with the Red Bull Holden colours, and is finished off with a steel clasp.<\/p>\n
