It seems like smartwatches are all the rage at the moment and all the top watch manufacturers are getting involved. The Movado Connect Looks Incredible!<\/h2>\n

Everyone will agree that Movado<\/a> are right up there with the best when it comes to fashionable designs. And when it comes to iconic watch designs, Movado’s sun on the 12 o’clock is one of the most famous on the market. You can see this on almost every single Movado watch, from the entry level designs to their extremely expensive luxury timepieces. The best thing about the Movado Connect is that it is possibly the most beautifully designed smartwatch. If you like the Movado Museum Watch<\/a> design, you can use that \u2013 and you also get the option of a new \u201cCyclox watch face\u201d which is something Movado have wanted to do for decades. Movado originally wanted to do this in the 1940’s but it isn’t possible with the limitations of traditional watches. The Cyclox watch face shows the hour as a number in the centre of the watch and then the iconic sun element sweeps around the watch to indicate the minute. Movado have produced something original which no other watchmaker or smartwatch manufacturer has ever been able to do.<\/p>\n

Is It Feature Light?<\/h2>\n

The one downside, when you consider the price, is that the watch is not as feature rich as other smartwatches. This is despite coming with a fairly hefty \u2013 for a smartwatch \u2013 price tag. You get many of the features that you’d expect \u2013 for example NFC, a microphone and it is water resistant. But you don’t get things like heart rate monitors, which many people are coming to expect from today’s smartwatches.<\/p>\n

While this may feel like a bit of a let down to lovers of cutting edge technology, this watch is perhaps not aimed at that market. Both Movado and Google are more concerned about making sure things look good than creating a kind-of wrist-based computer. Android Wear 2.0<\/a> is a very beautiful looking operating system \u2013 and Movado know how to create beautiful devices. For this reason, the Movado Connect is more aimed at watch-lovers who want a few more features than tech geeks! Movado have absolutely exceeded expectations on that front and this watch may be the first smartwatch which is a must-have in a watch collection.<\/p>\n

While the smartwatch revolution has stuttered and stalled over recent years, things have been moving in the right direction over the last year. With the entry of Apple, alongside some of the worlds best watch manufacturers, smartwatches are becoming better \u2013 both in terms of looks and functionality.
