They automatically adjust to your time zone using the latest GPS technology. This new launch consists of two new timepieces in a striking colour palette that is sure to stand out from the crown. When the Astron was first launched in 1969, it was heavily inspired by the idea that man might one day reach the stars. Seiko named this brand Astron for the Greek word meaning ‘space’ and ‘stars’. With such celestial inspiration, it is only fitting that this new launch exhibits a space-inspired aesthetic. This new collection builds on the Astron collection’s theme of ‘solidity’. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seiko Astron \u2018Morning Star\u2019 5X53 Solar GPS Limited Edition SSH145J1<\/a><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Limited to just 1,200 pieces, this watch is sure to be snapped up by Seiko collectors. A sparkling blue gradient dial sits at the centre of the timepiece. It is adorned with three sub-dials and a date aperture. The dial and its features are protected by durable sapphire glass. The black titanium case is finished with a Super Hard Coating to ensure extra resilience and scratch resistance. A matching black titanium bracelet secures the watch, completing the night sky look. This model is powered by a 5X53 GPS solar movement, allowing for a multitude of features. These include automatic hand position alignment, daylight saving time, GPS signal reception for time zone adjustment, and world time amongst others. The watch is water resistant up to 10 bar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This model also features a striking blue sparkling gradient dial but with a slightly more simple design. This model features gold and silver baton indices with gold hands. A date aperture is also present on the dial. Sapphire glass is used to protect the dial. The case of this model is crafted from black titanium that has been treated with a Super Hard Coating, offering optimal durability. This case measures 41.2mm in diameter and 12mm in depth, creating a comfortable, yet bold, feel on the wrist. A black titanium bracelet secures the watch, adding an edge of everyday elegance to the design. This model is powered by a GPS solar movement that provides the capability for automatic hand position alignment, GPS signal and a perpetual calendar as well as many more features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
