In exciting news, Hamilton<\/a> launches new Khaki Aviation Pilot Auto watches! Crafted for true aviation lovers, the all-new Pilot Auto watches evoke the spirit of exploration and adventure. Hamilton’s Khaki Aviation watches are reliable and have a reputation for accuracy; these new models are no exception. With an impressive automatic movement and Nivachron balance spring, these watches take features from the iconic Aviation collection and bring them to a new height. The New Khaki Aviation Pilot Auto Watches <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Case and Dial <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Each model’s case is crafted from stainless steel. The watches are available in 42mm and 36mm, so there is a Khaki Aviation Pilot Auto for all. The 42mm models either have a blue (H64635140<\/a>), silver (H64635550<\/a>), or olive green (H64635560<\/a>) dial. While the smaller 36mm models either have a black (H76215130<\/a>), silver\/white (H76215850<\/a>) or blue (H76245840 <\/a>or H76215140<\/a>) dial. For greater legibility, all models feature enlarged numbers on the dial. As well as this, each model features a simple three-hand design adorned with a mix of baton and Arabic numeral indices. Both the hands and indices are coated with a special Swiss Super-LumiNova, ensuring sustained luminosity day in and out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects each dial. Not only does it reduce glare but it also improves readability. The 42mm models also include a day-date window at the 3 o’clock position. While this feature is not typically seen on pilot watches, it adds an extra element of functionality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Movement and Finishing Touches <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A H-30 automatic movement powers the 42mm models, while a H-10 automatic movement powers the 36mm models. Both are three-hand movements that appear with intricate contrasting snail and pearled patterns. Although different calibers, both have an 80-hour power reserve and Nivachron balance spring. For those unsure of what a Nivachron balance spring <\/a>is, it is a component of the movement that helps to keep your watch functioning as accurately as possible. Hamilton understands the significance of this, so have included an open case back on each model. Through this, you can see the inner workings of the watch and enjoy the movement that powers it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each model is completed with either a stainless steel bracelet or a leather strap. For an added touch, the leather straps of the green (H64635560<\/a>) and silver (H64635550<\/a>) 42mm models feature the iconic Hamilton logo. Aided by their crown, each Khaki Aviation Pilot Auto model boasts a water resistance of up to 100 metres. So regardless of whether you’re in the cockpit or on terra firma, these watches make the ideal companion for any keen adventurer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
