It was at Baselworld 2017 that Alpina announced their Startimer Pilot Automatic collection. With the new Startimer Pilot Quartz models the brand are hoping to be able to offer the same Alpina style case and strap at a lower price point to customers making it more affordable for the public. The price for the Automatic version is upwards of \u00a31000 where as the quartz models start at \u00a3400.<\/p>\n<p>The models retain the traditional pilot characteristics and style which includes the over size indexes, bold contrasting dials and luminous hands to improve readability under a range of conditions.
