The All-New Seiko Prospex Navigator Timer Mechanical GMT SPB411J1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This exciting new timepiece comes as part of the iconic Prospex collection. This collection combines ‘professional’ and ‘specifications’ in both its name and design. The collection focuses on being practical, reliable and durable to ensure that each timepiece meets the high standards that are often required in extreme environments. Prospex timepieces are built for sports lovers and adventure seekers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The original 1968 Navigator Timer was a pioneer in sports-type GMT models. It was the first mechanical GMT watch with a rotating bezel. This new iteration of the famous timepiece is powered by an in-house 6R54 calibre movement, updating the classic design in both looks and mechanics. This model is set to be the first mechanical GMT movement for Seiko Prospex with a three-day power reserve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dial and Movement<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The dial of this model is a deep grey colour and is detailed with silver baton indices and hands. Superluminova elements have been added to these features, ensuring they can be seen in the dark. In addition, a date display and red GMT hand have also been included on the dial. Anti-reflective box-shaped sapphire glass protects the dial and a rotating bezel frames it for a durable and practical finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The watch is powered by a 6R54 calibre automatic movement that provides up to 72 hours of power reserve. This movement is accurate to within -15\/+25 seconds per day, making this timepiece incredibly reliable. This movement also powers the GMT function of the watch which allows the wearer to track the time in two time zones at the same time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Case and Finishing Touches<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The case of this new model is another feature that has been modernised from the original 1968 model. The stainless steel case and back are very reminiscent of the original design, but they have been updated with Seiko’s Super Hard Coating. This treatment enhances the shine of the metal and provides it with a good level of scratch resistance. The case measures 38.5mm in diameter and 12.6mm in depth to create a bold, yet comfortable, fit on the wrist. A classic stainless steel bracelet secures this watch on the wrist for a clean, simple and timeless look. In addition, the watch is water resistant up to 10 bar, making it a fantastic everyday companion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
