In exciting news, there are two new groundbreaking Oris<\/a> models on the horizon. This month, Oris launches its new Aquis 400 and a Bracenet collaboration. With the never-before-seen water resistance of the Aquis 400 and the sustainable individuality of the Aquis x Bracenet, fans of the brand are in for a treat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Oris Aquis 400 (01 400 7777 7155-SET<\/a>)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Marking a milestone for the brand, the Aquis 400 is Oris\u2019s most water-resistant watch ever. Sealed in by its enviable titanium case, the watch can withstand outstanding pressures of up to 400 bar. For context, in depth, this is equivalent to a colossal 4000 metres. Moreover, exclusive features like the Oris-patented Rotation Safety System bezel ensure even more security when diving. Designed with the input of professional divers, this technology locks the bezel securely in place to prevent accidental knocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of appearance, there’s also a lot to love about the Aquis 400. At its centre is a wave-textured blue dial with a black minute track. Upon it are luminescent baton indices with matching central hour and minute hands. For an added stylish flair, the lollipop second hand is blue in colour. Lastly, finishing touches like the neat 6 o\u2019clock date display and a domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal keep practicality paramount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a hefty 49.5mm in case diameter, this new model is not for the faint-hearted. Within it is the brand\u2019s Calibre 400, an automatic mechanical movement with an impressive 120-hour power reserve. Built with such high stamina, the Aquis 400 is perfect for both long and short adventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, topping off the design is a comfortable oceanic blue rubber strap. Fastening it securely at the back is a titanium security folding clasp. And for extra versatility, this also comes with an extension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Aquis x Bracenet in 43.5mm<\/a> and 36.5mm<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Through two more beautiful Aquis models, Oris announced its new relationship with Bracenet. Cleaning the oceans from harmful \u2018ghost nets\u2019, Bracenet<\/a> upcycle old fishing nets to create beautiful new accessories. In turn, this saves any marine wildlife from accidentally entangling themselves in the discarded nets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, in a joint venture with Oris, Bracenet branches into the horological industry with the Aquis x Bracenet models. Available in either 43.5mm (733 7730 4137 07 8 24 05PEB)<\/a> or 36.5mm (733 7770 4137 07 8 18 05)<\/a>, these stunning new models are characterised by their distinctive dials. To create their beautifully marbled effect, small green and blue net offcuts are warmed until they hit the melting point. When they cool, they set into a sheet, which is then cut, planed and sanded. Notably, in the making of this material, Oris notes that it does not use any fillers, glues or additives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resultant timepiece features a striking green dial, with each one featuring a completely unique pattern. To foreground its vibrancy, contrasting silver-tone luminescent baton indices and matching hands adorn the dial. Encircling them is a multi-piece stainless steel case, measuring either 43.5mm<\/a> or 36.5mm<\/a>. Shielding this intricate design from any damage, a double-domed sapphire crystal with interior anti-reflective coating encases the dial. Meanwhile, a small date display rests at the 6 o\u2019clock position on both models to offer some extra practicality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the case, the automatic Oris 733 calibre ticks away. In addition to a 38-hour power reserve, some of its features include a date corrector, a fine timing device and stop-seconds. Lastly, a stainless steel bracelet with a security folding clasp fastens each model to the wrist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
