Today, Luminox has surprised its fans by announcing a new Sport Timer watch. This timepiece comes as a new addition to the brand’s 0920 series. Limited to just 500 pieces worldwide, this launch is incredibly exciting for any fans of the brand. This brand-new timepiece is crafted from bronze which provides a totally unique look. Bronze develops an original and unique patina over time, meaning that eventually each of the 500 models will look completely different. The metal quickly oxidises when it meets air and water, creating a greenish surface known as the patina. This protects the metal beneath, ensuring it is protected from damage and resilient against seawater. This new watch is a very collectable model, making it the perfect addition for the upcoming festive season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Luminox Sport Timer Watch XS.0927<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Dial and Movement <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The dial of this watch exhibits a striking black gradient effect, darkening as it approaches the outer edge. Bronze Arabic numerals are set around the dial and a weekday and date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock. The hour, minute and second hands are rose gold in colour to complement the bronze details of the timepiece. The details of the dial are enhanced using Luminox Light Technology. This means that it dial is illuminated for up to 25 years. The dial is protected by anti-reflective sapphire glass that provides this timepiece with a good level of durability. This model is powered by an automatic movement of the calibre Sellita SW220-1. This movement provides up to 38 hours of power reserve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Case and Finishing Touches<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The most distinctive feature of this watch is its eye-catching bronze case. The case measures 42mm in diameter and 13mm in height to create a comfortable fit on the wrist. The unidirectional rotating bezel is also crafted from bronze and is detailed with a black ceramic insert. The case features an exhibition case back that allows the wearer to observe and enjoy the reliable movement that powers their timepiece. The watch is secured on the wrist using a classic and comfortable brown leather strap. This strap is detailed with white stitching to create an eye-catching finish. Additionally, this brand-new timepiece is water resistant up to 200 metres. This is aided by the screw-down crown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
