Frederique Constant have released a never seen before E-Strap, their innovative new product is a patented smart buckle and strap that fits on any analog watch. Hence our post title. Built by the watch industry experts that created the Horological Smartwatch, Frederique Constant\u2019s E-Strap is both ground breaking and a world first it adds\u00a0smart functionality to any existing watch. The miniature extension to the buckle can hardly be seen\u00a0thanks to the stylish leather strap. It is available in rose gold, silver and yellow gold to match any case you may own.<\/p>\n

The same MMT-365 App that accompanies Horological Smartwatches is also available to Frederique Constant E-Strap customers so that you can do a number of useful functions for the exercise conscious, it allows you to track activity and get active alerts when you reach goals. It can also monitor your sleeping patterns with its smart sleep alarms. The price of these E-Straps will be CHF 220-249 which is approximately \u00a3172-\u00a3194 and for this price include a beautiful leather strap in a variety of colours. The E-Strap will be available from our store later this month once they are released however they\u00a0are available for pre-order on the Frederique Constant site here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Frederique Constant’s new E-Strap\u00a0is able to be worn on every analog watch that has\u00a0a lugwidth of 20mm or 22mm. Frederique Constant and MMT SwissConnect joined forced once more to build upon and develop\u00a0the very same app that the Horological Smartwatch uses. With the help of the companion MMT-365 app, the user is able to check his or her figures at any time while simply wearing the E-Strap on any traditional Frederique Constant quartz and automatic analog watch. The actual module itself uses very little battery power and it has a highly integrated electronics device combined with Bluetooth capabilities, and a rechargeable battery.<\/p>\n

The user must connect the E-Strap to the MMT-365 app on his or her iOS or Android phone before being able to use the functionalities that it has, they can do this by pressing the discreet pusher on the bracelet. Once paired the user can easily switch from Activity Tracking to Sleep Monitoring mode conveniently using the E-Strap by pressing the pusher for three seconds. You are able to tell when the activity tracking mode is active when the LED light is orange. The E-Strap is then ready to start monitoring the steps, calories, active time and distance. To set up the Sleep Monitoring, the user must press the pusher during 3 seconds (a blue LED light will confirm the switch) and the E-Strap will start to monitor sleep patterns. Please note that the Frederique Constant E-Strap has a battery life of up to 7 days.<\/p>\n

The Frederique Constant E-Strap is a very advanced piece of technology\u00a0that is made better by all the stylish customisable parts you can choose. You have an\u00a0elegant buckle and strap crafted under demanding watchmaking codes to one of a number of colour specifications. When worn, the buckle and the strap with in harmony and it becomes an extension of the watch. The E-Strap buckle is available in stainless steel, rose gold-plated and yellow gold-plated steel. The package is complete with a special tool the user can use to fit the buckle into any other strap as long as the lugwidth measures 20mm or 22mm.<\/p>\n
