Oris has continued to expand its impressive portfolio with three brand-new models. Oris<\/a> launch the Joy of the Deep collection to grow the iconic Aquis family. This new trio of watches each feature a stunning mother-of-pearl dial. The watches all use the familiar shape of the Aquis Date diver’s watch to ensure that a collector receives the high-quality materials, design and craftsmanship that the brand is well-known for. The new shimmering mother-of-pearl dials add an elegant and sophisticated touch to the design of the Aquis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Watches<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The new Joy of the Deep Aquis watches are available in three unique colours. The first is Blush Pink (01 733 7770 4158-07 8 18 05P<\/a>) which is perfect for those searching for a softer, more feminine look. A vibrant Seafoam Green dial (01 733 7770 4157-07 8 18 05P<\/a>) is a great choice for those looking for an on-trend accessory that will see them well into the future. The Aegean Blue dial (01 733 7770 4155-07 8 18 05P<\/a>) is a classic with a shimmering mother-of-pearl twist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dial and Movement<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Each timepiece features a dial that is carefully crafted from mother-of-pearl which provides a truly unique and eye-catching finish. The colours that the watch is available in have been specially selected to achieve a stylish and natural look. The dial of each model is adorned with silver baton indices and silver hour, minute and second hands. These features are all detailed with Superluminova, ensuring that the dial can be read in the dark or underwater. A date aperture is positioned at 6 o’clock to provide the wearer with an additional utility. The dial and its features are protected by domed and anti-reflective sapphire glass which provides a good level of durability. The watch is powered by an Oris 733 automatic movement that provides up to 38 hours of power reserve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Case and Finishing Touches<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The dial of each timepiece is framed by a grey unidirectional rotating bezel, giving the watch a distinctive diver’s watch aesthetic. A stainless steel case safely houses the movement of each model. The case measures 36.5mm in diameter, ensuring it has a perfect unisex fit. This means that it is a great choice for both men and women. The case also features an exhibition case back that allows the wearer to observe and enjoy the powerful mechanics of the movement of their watch. The case is built to be water resistant up to 30 bar, making it suitable for most swimming and diving activities. This is aided by the screw-down crown. Each of the three designs within the Joy of the Deep collection is finished with a classic stainless steel bracelet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
