Maurice Lacroix wins two Red Dot Awards<\/a><\/h1>\n

Luxury Swiss watch brand Maurice Lacroix\u00a0was awarded two prizes in the jewellery and watch categories this year at the prestigious Red Dot Awards 2017.<\/p>\n

The brand has two stunning watches in their Masterpiece Skeleton collection on in red with a chronograph and one in blue that does not feature a chronograph, both are considered luxury timepieces and are getting a lot of attention worldwide currently.\u00a0The tow models receives awards in excellence in design decided by a jury of experts from around the world.<\/p>\n

Maurice Lacroix has been known as a strong contender at these awards since its first prize\u00a0in 2007 and has managed to amass a further twelve prizes at the prestigious competition including these two.<\/p>\n

The Masterpiece Chronograph Skeleton first launched last year and is the perfect embodiment of the\u00a0Maurice Lacroix approach to watchmaking. It is not just modern and stylish but it is also highly technological and avant-garde.<\/p>\n

The watch features a Stainless steel, \u00d8 43 mm, satin and polished finished case with a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on\u00a0both sides. It has a\u00a0screwed case back with wide sapphire crystal glass. The watch is also water-resistant\u00a0to 5 atm.\u00a0<\/b>The watches hands are stamped hours and minutes hands with luminescent\u00a0coating (blue emission) which are also rhodium plated. The watches bracelet is a genuine alligator leather strap available in black or brown with red, blue or black overstitching. The watches buckle is a folding steel clasp with push buttons<\/p>\n

which is satin and has a polished finish. <\/b>It features a mechanically wound ML134 caliber movement inside the watch which is reliable and accurate.<\/p>\n

It has a few extra features such as:
\nHours, Minutes, Seconds indicated by central hands, Small seconds through hand at 9 o\u2019clock, 18 000 vibrations per hour, 2.5 Hz, power reserve of\u00a045 hours, 17 jewels, 5 positions when fully wound and\u00a02 after 24 hours, Grand colima\u00e7on and sandblast on main bridge, in blue CVD\u00a0(Chemical Vapor Deposition) or\u00a0Black gold-rhodied execution<\/p>\n
