Seiko fans have recently been given the opportunity of any watchlovers dream. In recent weeks, Seiko invited fans to design watches. This campaign was focused on the Seiko 5 Sports collection. These watches were first launched in 1968. They have become a firm favourite with fans around the world in the years since. This new campaign was launched to celebrate the Seiko 5 Sports collection’s 55th anniversary. The Show Your Love For Seiko 5 Sports campaign invited fans of this model to design their own unique version to express their own style through this iconic timepiece. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In celebration of the Seiko 5 Sports collection’s 55th anniversary, Seiko fans were invited to head online to create their own design. They could create a virtual, customised watch using various 5 Sports parts. Using this wide variety of parts, fans could create their ideal dream Seiko 5 Sports watch that they would love to wear. The parts included those that are used in current models and parts from vintage styles. This gave fans the opportunity to emulate discontinued designs that they never managed to get their hands on. This fun and interactive campaign inspired many Seiko fans to design their own timepieces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bringing the Designs to Life<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Although the opportunity to design your own Seiko 5 Sports watch was incredibly exciting for many fans, it is not even the most exciting part of this campaign. The design process has now closed but the opportunity to get involved is ongoing. Seiko has stated that they will be physically creating the best designs. The brand plan to commercialise them and make them available for purchase in 2023.
